B. Super-Tough Welded Aluminum Hulls
All mod-V models are built to deliver outstanding performance and easy trailering. Due to it's desirability in this lightweight, hi-performance application, aluminum sections are plasma arc cut from heavy-duty .072 to .100 gauge 5052 H-34 marine grade aluminum to provide superior corrosion resistance and hi-impact strength. Our expert craftsmen then create consistent, flawless welds for the added benefit of a smooth clean hull with the good looks of fiberglass.

C. Cradle Fixtures Ensure Precise Hulls
Proprietary steel hull-forming fixtures are used to assemble all of the precisely manufactured boat hull components. This unique full-boat steel shaping mold eliminates warping, hooking and misalignment.

D. Aluminum Heavy-Duty Transom
Our transoms are constructed with thick .100 gauge aluminum for extra strength to handle larger, more powerful outboards. PowerGrid™ modular substructures with ribs, stringers and knee braces are locked together to unitize the transom, hull and sides. Engines bolts run through the braces to ensure proper distribution of forces.

E. PowerGrid™ Rib & Stringer Construction
The entire substructure is engineered for extra strength by using longitudinal stringers throughout the boat locked together with closely spaced extruded aluminum transverse ribs. Each Lowe model uses a custom engineered PowerGrid™ construction system of stringers and ribs designed specifically for that application.

F. High Quality Marine Carpet
Stain and mildew resistant marine grade, snag resistant carpet is made from a high grade, 16 oz. weight carpet material with UV inhibiting coating to maintain its color. It’s also quick to dry, easy to clean and wears tough to look great year after year.

G. Durable Helm Consoles
Ergonomically designed helm consoles are constructed of a tough molded Acrylic/ABS composite (or are rotomolded) and won't fade or chalk like fiberglass. These attractive and durable consoles accommodate standard and optional instrument packages, AM/FM digital CD stereos and extra electronics.

H. Polyurethane Closed Cell Foam
To ensure a quiet riding, rigid hull, all available areas of the hull are "shot" with expanding closed cell polyurethane foam tying the entire structure together as a fully bonded unit. Most models.

Wide Extruded Gunnels
Good looks, boat rigidity, and extra bump protection are all part of our unique gunnel system. These wide, heavy-duty, extruded aluminum gunnels are the final component of our bonded SuperLock™ Construction.

State-of-the-Art Paint Systems
Our Stinger models start with our 5052 H-34 marine aluminum and are first hand sanded to create a proper base. The hull is then cleaned and acid etched, coated with a zinc chromate primer and baked at 250°. Following a coat of high grade polyurethane enamel, the hull is again baked at 250°.
