Heavy-Duty Transoms
Our transoms employ either a composite core laminated with thick .100 gauge aluminum, or all-aluminum construction, depending on the specific application. Knee braces tie the transom to the hull and sides to ensure proper distribution of forces for larger outboards.
WideTrac Hull Bottoms
Many boat builders cut costs by decreasing their bottom width. Lowe mod-Vs employ extra-wide hull bottoms for more usable room in the boat and better overall performance. Narrower boats tend to fall off plane, while our WideTrac hulls ensure that you stay on plane, even at slower speeds. Our extra-wide hulls also reduce roll for a more comfortable fishing and hunting.
Variable V Hull
ProTrac mod-V hulls employ a sophisticated variable deadrise hull to provide better overall performance. Starting at a flatter 8 degrees and increasing to a much sharper and deeper V at the bow, this unique design provides stability while fishing, fast hole shots and a smoother, drier ride in rougher water.
Extruded Running Keels
Some shallow deadrise boats can be unstable at speed or when turning. Lowe mod-V hulls incorporate formed-in running keels spaced across the hull bottom to provide increased stability for hi-performance running, and reduced sliding for precisely controlled turns.
